Sometimes keeping up with a blog can be challenging, but I have been busy with several projects along with my job. No matter what you have to keep the creative juices flowing because it’s a blessing to have creative abilities.

I’ll be in Austin, TX in a few days for the SXSW festivities. I can’t wait!. Plus, I need a vacation away from Sin City, NV.  Then a little later this year, I plan to take another well deserved vacation to Jamaica!. I’ll be refreshed and re-inspired to keep producing more and better artwork.

The plan is to be there this year. I’ve put it off too many times and it’s where I need to be this year. It has become one of the largest film/music festivals around and it’ll be nice to be back around thousands of like minded individuals.

Before finalizing this image, I’m going to make minor changes to the little girl silohouette thats pointing at the moon. I’m deciding on whether I want to add white highlights around each silohouette for a moon reflection effect.

Here’s a couple new logo designs I did for my alias “zo3000″. I’ll probably go with the top design with the “Zo” on top.

A couple banners that I made for myself. I’ll probably crop and center the metal one once I completely finalize it. I’m using it on my Facebook page and I had to adjust the letters so that it would show correctly as my Facebook cover image on the new Timeline layout.

I’m working on my own concept of the Egyptian deity, Anubis.  After I scanned this in I noticed a couple things were unaligned but it’s an easy fix. I’m trying to get back into my traditional drawing. I’ve been doing more digital work as of late.

I was just messing around in Photoshop and turned my photo of Lake Mead into something a bit more techno.

I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus and busy with work along with other projects. Therefore suffering a creative slump on my personal projects. The one thing I want to focus on is to get back in tune with my love of ancient Egyptian mythology. I want to take a shot at creating some of my own concepts of popular Egyptian deities. Also, I like to write and I’ll be back on track with that also. I believe that I have what it takes within me to create something worthy of publication.

I thought I’d get this fairly old animation I did a while back back online. It was to be used on a website but due to bandwidth issues it had to be taken down. I put a different soundtrack on it. It’s a snippet from a song from “The Omen” soundtrack.

I haven’t made a post in a while but I hope to upload some new material soon. I’ve been thinking of some designs I want to do but just figuring out the best way to go about them… at least the way that I see them in my head.  Also, I hope to get some more projects and post images in the coming weeks.  On a side note, I’m enjoying a blockbuster movie-filled spring/summer with Thor, Green Lantern, Transformers, Captain America, X-Men, and many more that will dominate this year.  I’m a huge movie buff and movies help expand my imagination.  I’m infatuated with what technology can do to bring all of these childhood memories to life onto the big screen.
